XVII^th International Congress of Slavists

Welcome to the website of the XVII^th International Congress of Slavists (MKS), 2025.

The XVII^th International Congress of Slavists will be held in Paris, France, from August 25 to August 30, 2025 at the Centre Malesherbes of Sorbonne Université (108 boulevard Malesherbes 75017 Paris).

This event, organized every five years, is the meeting place of Slavists from all around the world – specialists in linguistics, literature, history. Its first session was held in Prague in 1929. For the first time in history, the MKS will meet in a non-Slavic country.

During the six working days, papers are presented in a variety of formats in a series of simultaneous morning and afternoon sessions, each session moderated by a chair. Some Plenary papers will be read on the opening day of the Congress

During its annual meeting on September 2^nd, 2022, the International Congress of Slavists has taken the decision to postpone its next conference, initially planned in August 2023, to August, 25^th-30^th, 2025.

This decision will affect the initial submission calendar, as well as the submission selection process.

Regarding thematic blocks, which were selected in August 2021, the list of selected blocks will not be modified. However, participants should feel free to cancel their participation or to modify their abstract, as long as the modified submissions remain consistent with the topic of the thematic block. In case of individual cancellations within a thematic block, block organizers are encouraged to invite new participants. They should however notify the conference organising committee of any change, using the address below, before January 1^st, 2024 : mks-paris@sciencesconf.org

 As far as individual submissions go, most of them have already been selected by national committees in accordance with the quotas attributed to each delegation. If needed, national committees can continue working on their selection. They should however notify the conference organising committee about their updated selection no later than May 1^st, 2024. Late applicants can reach out to the contact person of each delegation by checking their contact details on the conference website (https://mks-paris.sciencesconf.org, “Interventions, Papers, Доклады”).

 Regarding round tables and poster submissions, a new deadline has been approved: May 1st, 2024. On this, see https://mks-paris.sciencesconf.org

The Congress will take place in person.

The registration campaign has been open since May 5, 2024 and closes on 1st December, 2024.

XVII международный съезд славистов

Добро пожаловать на сайт XVII Международного Съезда славистов!

Съезд будет проходить с 25 августа по 29  августа 2025 г. в университете Сорбонна по адресу 108 boulevard Malesherbes 75017 Paris.

Международный Съезд славистов, увидевший свет в 1929 г. в Праге, собирает раз в пять лет под своей эгидой ведущих славистов, работающих в области языка, литературы и истории. 

Рабочая программа включает в себя традиционные для Съезда формы презентации докладов, распределенных по секциям, каждая из которых возглавляется председателем. В день открытия Съезда предусмотрено несколько пленарных докладов.

На заседании Международного Комитета Славистов 2 сентября 2022 г. было решено перенести 17 Международный Съезд Славистов на 2025 г. (Новые даты проведения Съезда: 25-29 августа 2025 г.)

Перенос Съезда влечет за собой изменения в датах подачи и экспертизы заявок на индивидуальные доклады, круглые столы и постеры.

Тематические блоки, принятые на Съезд в августе 2021 года, автоматически переносятся на Съезд в 2025 г. Внутри блоков допускаются следующие изменения: участники блоков могут внести поправки в свои резюме, оставаясь в рамках выбранной тематики; если кто-то из уже записанных участников блока не может или не желает принимать участие в Съезде в 2025 г., ответственный за тематический блок имеет право принять в свой блок нового кандидата в замену участника, покинувшего блок. Ответственные за тематические блоки должны оповестить организационный комитет о различных изменениях, произошедших в их блоке, до 1 января 2024 г. по следующему электронному адресу: mks-paris@sciencesconf.org

Большинство Национальных Комитетов уже прислали списки участников с индивидуальными докладами с учетом национальных квот. В связи с переносом Съезда, Национальные Комитеты могут внести некоторые изменения в состав своих участников. Национальные Комитеты должны прислать в организационный комитет окончательные списки участников до 1 мая 2024 г. Заявки на индивидуальные доклады входят в компетенцию Национальных комитетов, список представителей Национальных комитетов указан на сайте МКС https://mks-paris.sciencesconf.org в рубрике Interventions, Papers, Доклады.
