La vocation première de L’Institut d’études slaves (http://institut-etudes-slaves.fr), est de « Promouvoir la connaissance scientifique des choses slaves » (E. Denis, fondateur). En regroupant la plus grande partie des enseignants et des chercheurs dans son domaine, l’Institut occupe une place privilégiée pour assurer un rôle de coordinateur des recherches menées en France sur les pays de l’Est.
